THE JAKE SCARF



THE JAKE SCARF-

Skill level-Easy

Hook size: J hook 6mm

Abbreviations:
CH-Chain
SC-Single Crochet
SCTOG-Single Crochet together
HDC-Half Double Crochet
DC-Double Crochet
St(s)-Stitch(s)
Sl St-Slip Stitch

What you will need:
Scissors
Needle to weave in ends
Stuffing-Optional
Gold Yarn-Color A
White Yarn-Color B
Black Yarn-Color C

Gauge:
CH 12, turn. DC in the third ch from the hook and in each remaining ch spaces.) ***Note: Stop at the 5th Dc row- measure, 3 inches (width) by 3 inch (height)*** If measurements are more, use a smaller hook. If measurements are less, use a larger hook.

SCARF (Make 1):

Foundation: With color A CH 252, turn CH 2

Row 1: DC in the third CH from the hook and in each remaining CH spaces, turn CH 2. (250)

Row 2-12: DC in each St(s) across, turn CH 2. (250)

Row 13: Dc in each St(s) across. (250). Fasten off and weave in ends.




LEGS (Make 4):

Foundation: With color A CH 6, turn CH 2.

Row 1: DC in the second CH from the hook and in each remaining CH spaces, turn CH 2. (5)

Row 2-4: DC in each St(s) across, turn CH 2. (5)

Row 5: DC in the second CH from hook an in each remaining St(s) spaces, turn CH 2 (4)

Row 6:DC in each St(s) across, turn CH 1 and Sl St to begging of Row 6. Fasten off-use to fasten to scarf.



JOWLS (Make 1):

Foundation: With color A CH 20, turn.

Round 1: SC in the second CH from the hook, SC around. (38)

Round 2: SC around. (38)

Round 3: SC 8, Combine St(s) 9&10 together SCTOG, SC 28. (37)

Round 4: SC 8, Combine St(s) 9&10 together SCTOG, SC 27. (36) Sl St, fasten off-use to fasten to scarf. You can use stuffing to make the Jowls more pronounced.


EYES (Make 2):

Foundation: With Color B CH 2 and Sl St to first CH, SC 6 into loop made Sl St and CH 1. (6)

Round 1: 2 SC in each St(s) around. (12)

Round 2: 1 SC and 2 SC in the next St around, Sl St bringing color C through CH 2. (18)

Round 3: HDC around, Sl St. Fasten off and attach to scarf.


NOSE (Make 1);

Foundation: With color C CH 2 and Sl St to first CH, SC 6 into loop made Sl St and CH 1. (6)

Round 1: 2 SC in each St(s) around. (12)

Round 2: SC around, Sl St fasten off and attach to scarf.

Once everything is fastened to the scarf you can proceed with the tail.

TAIL (Make 1);

Attach to the end with out the face, in the middle of the legs.

Row 1: SC 4, turn Ch 1. (4)

Row 2: SC in the second CH from hook, turn CH 1. (3)

Row 3:  SC in the second CH from hook, turn CH 1. (2)

Row 4: SC in the second CH from hook, turn CH 1. Fasten off and weave in ends.
